Continuing Medical Education in Europe

The white paper, Continuing Medical Education in Europe: Evolution or Revolution? was developed to provide a clear picture of the current Continuing Medical Education (CME) environment in Europe and to create awareness of it by elaborating on the driving forces and barriers posed to the professional healthcare community.
CME has been well-designed and implemented in the United States since the late 1960s. However, since the development of CME in Europe has not been uniform, there are considerable disparities in both approach and practice. Therefore, in an effort to provide you with the most up-to-date information as well as expert insights on the topic, we have the privilege of offering you, by means of this publication, an in-depth look at CME in Europe for 2010!
